Can I sue someone in small claims court for lying to police which led to my arrest.
My daughter's kids were taken away due to drugs and child endangerment, given to me by courts. When she was released she lived across from street from me, wanted one of the kids overnight. I refused. She had her mother in law call cops to say I was a danger to kids cause I was drunk. I wasn't and the mother in law didn't even call me or see me before she called 911. 3 sheriffs came and demanded to come in. I refused cause no warrant. Told them I had custody and was not drunk and they could talk to grandkids through my window. They broke into my window, shot me with Tazer, took me to jail and charged me with "Obstruction of Justice". Let the other grandma take my grandkids. I've spent over 15,000 in my defense. Can I sue her in small claims for false report to recover some of my money?

Is the case over and have you been found not guilty ?

I would be more looking at sue the police for violation of your rights, if they had no warrant, and had no cause to come in, there should be little reason to even get into court, since if everything she said was false, and there was no warrant, you get it dismissed without even going to court.

So need to know more about case.
