I have suffered for the last 4 years under the brutal family court decisions.I was ordered to pay a large sum of $6992 monthly, although my annual income is only $22,162 a year on my assessment. I explained to the court that I don't make that amount of money but the court never listened to my side of the case only my ex-wife. I had to sell my dead mothers' jewellery who died of cancer and borrow money from family members( brothers and sisters) to make these payments and still when it is time to go to trial my ex wife always came up with excuses ,she said she has cancer there's no evidence, post traumatic stress disorder, still no evidence until I couldn't make the payments again. I was not allowed to participate in the trial, but I was allowed to sat in the back of the court room listening to lies, with I could not defend. Now the final order came and the ex wife was given everything... the house, vehicles and I am still stuck with that big monthly support order... The family court of ontario, is not fair and just. I was not treated fairly from the time the court case started 4 years ago till the end. What rights do I have? None. Was my side of the case looked at fairly. No. I want the family court to follow the law by the books and not go by race, gender or their personal opinions. I want the Justices' to listen to both sides and determine the correct equalization payment and support orders, isn't that what courts' suppose to do, go by the evidence, there was none in my case and still I have been mistreated my rights violated, discriminated against.I know there are others out there like me who have gone to similar, even worse situation. We must all join together and make the courts know that it is time for change. I would like to start a class action law suit and would also like to protest in front of the 393 University Avenue. I there is anyone who would like to join in and participate, please respond.

Thank you.

First, to start a class action you need to have a class. So you have to find other people you can prove were abused by the courts. Good luck!

I hope posting this made you feel better, because your chances of getting some legal redress are slim to none.

And I believe it may have to be the same court, not other courts in other states or even areas.

But you will need to prove that the judge is doing something wrong, not following state laws

What I don't understand is that you state you were remanded to be in the rear of the courtroom and?? Did you have representation at all?

Did u have a lawyer? Why were you told to pay that much money, that judge was sniffing or smoking something that got to his head, that is insane. You need to seek some advice for a local attorney or someone in that field. Where are you to get that much money... holly ****... :( :(

The judge doesn't need to follow state laws.

First, this is a legal forum. Answers here need to conform to statutory law. You have several posts that do not meet the standards for the law forums.

We were NOT in the court room, we have only the OP's word of what happened. Yes there are incompetent and crooked judges, but they are generally the exception not the rule. You can't assume the judge acted improperly based solely on the OP's brief description of what happened.
