My ex left with my daughter a year ago and she is living with a guy convicted of intoxicated manslaughter for being under the influnce while driving and having a accident which resulted in the death of a 16 year old minor he was 19 and is not 21 or 22. His mother and him both do drugs we are wanting to call cps but we don't know where they live. We go to court in a week for child support and custody rights. She does not work at all has totaled 2 cars in the last year as a result of running off the road from being intoxicated. But was never arrested or checked for it. I am scared for the safety of my child and want custody! Im in Texas. I guess to sum it up the question is this considered my child being in danger by living with a convicted felon. I don't even want there child support or nothing I just want my little girl to be OK. Any advice? And do you think I have a fighting chance to have the court give me custody of my child so I guess really I had a few questions lol thank you for your time.

Is it dangerous to live with a convicted felon? Not necessarily. Is it dangerous to get into a car with him when he has been drinking? Oh yes.

But that is considered dangerous to live with him, that means he does not think thinks through. And was not aonlt drinking he was smoking pot and doing coke and I believe something else. Even if not nothing else those 3 are bad enough. He is not responsiable and can not be trust to make the correct decisions whens when it comes to my daughter. Its not his child he does not care ar think through what would happen...
