Ok, My nephew has just been ordered by the DA to fill out and return in papers regarding his work status and such. A woman has accused him of being the Father of a 3 yr old after the man who signed the Birth certicate was proven not to be the father.

He's telling me that the only way the Court will give him a Paternity test is he fills out the Financial affidative first...

Now, is it me or does this not sound right? Help please, My sister is worried:-(

He isn't telling you the WHOLE story. What he should have said was: the only way the Court will pay for a Paternity test is he fills out the Financial affidative first... If the court feels he can afford to pay for the test himself, they will not pay for it. That's why they are requiring financial statements.
