Items from my Netflix instant queue will play in Firefox but after a period of time the full screen automatically reverts to small screen and causes the monitor I'm using, which is connected with a vga cable to my laptop, an Acer Aspire 5517 with Windows 7, to go black for a second before reverting to the small screen, apparently as a default because something is momentarily interrupting the signal. This happens when I use the the laptop with the monitor but there is no problem if I'm running Netflix on the laptop alone. The monitor is a 23" Polaroid HDTV.
Also, when playing iTunes through the laptop and into the monitor, after a while the display will go black for a second and when it comes back the display will revert to a default screen from full screen. Again, this only happens when I'm using the laptop with the monitor. I've run iTunes through the laptop alone for hours with no such problem.
By the way, the vga cable is a Belkin F3H982-10 PRO Series High-Integrity VGA/SVGA Monitor Replacement Cable and the ISP is Verizon High Speed, if that's any help at all. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
