When our lineoleum was laid, adhesive from the seams was tracked on the floor while it was still wet. How do I remove the adhesive residue? I have tried paint thinner, terpentine, and a couple of other 'goo be gone' products without success. Help!

Check the can that adhesive came in. This should have clean up instructions.

Most adhesives used on linoleum are water clean up. The adhesive at the seams is usually a binder adhesive and will clean up with a scrubby. Lots of elbow grease.

I'm not 100% sure if this will work.. But "Brake Clean" Can get pretty much anything off anything. I would give it a shot. You can get it at any parts store for like $6 a can.
