My cat had her second litter 2 weeks ago, she was doing very well taking care of them. We left for the Christmas holidays and when we came back she had moved her litter under the sink in the bathroom. I had a friend come by everyday to feed and refill the water. When we came home there were are only 5 kittens, not 6. The one that is missing was the littlest one. When she had her first litter, of only one kitten, this happened one night, but we found her later that day. What happpened to her?
Did the mother just put her somewhere else, which is strange, why not with the rest of the litter? Or did she eat her? Or did she die, but where is the body? Any suggestions?
