I have a business and I have been filing my personal taxes combined with my business. Is it better to file seperatly business and personal or does it make a defference?

If your business net income is below $100,000, then filing as a sole proprietor on your personal return is okay.

If your income consistently gets above $100K, you should consider converting to a SubchapterS corporation.
