We have a newly remodeled home that has a noxious odor coming out of the vent system. It is similar to a dead rat smell or urine. The odor is only present when the heat is turned on. The odor has not dissipated during the period of 1 1/2 months. What is necessary steps to eliminate orders in the heating system vents?
Thank you,
Char

I have seen dead mice in blower wheels, blower compartments, evaporator coils, ductwork etc. Hard for me to tell you what or where it could be without checking out everything. Is one register worse than the others?
