It's been 4 months since I had color correction on my hair and it was damaged. We have been depositing a med golden brown color only...no highlights. I have been using deep conditioning treatments. My hair is very grey at the top and the roots are very bad within 2-3 weeks. I want to know if enough time has passsed and i can get highlights again. My hairdresser wont put any in because she is afraid of damage. I am thinking of finding someone new if I can get a hair color I like soon.

If your hair was damaged from a corrective color process, you shouldn't deposit any hair color on your hair because it's going to make matters worse. If you are thinking of putting highlights, please have a hairstylist check the condition of your hair to determine if it's safe to color your hair.
