Any valid scientific observation must follow the scientific method. That is, no theory developed from a scientific observation is valid unless tested to give results consistent with the theory in the laboratory. For example, there is no valid scientific evidence, tested by the scientific method, that greenhouse gases (particularly CO2) can affect climate change.
