My IE is not working, and as a result I cannot update any programs I have on my pc and I cannot add new programs. I think I accidently deleted some files that affected IE. I ordered an IE disk, and tried to install it with no luck. I tried to do it from the microsoft website with no luck. Microsoft said it is not their fault, and ask the computer mfr , Dell. I am out of warranty and Dell will not discuss it without very high costs. Can anyone help?

Thank You,

Simply take your Windows installation disk and reinstall your version of Windows. This will reinstall and repair your current version of Internet Explorer as well. Reinstalling Windows on top of Windows will not cause you to lose data.
