Have a Maple Chase thermostat -- undetermined age (probably 10 years or so). After electricity went out (and then back on) the heat did not kick back on. Checked batteries and fuse. All seem OK. When I set the fan to On it will just blow out cold air. (Have gas heat). Is there a reset button? This seems to happen a lot when changing from AC to heat in fall and spring but we somehow get it going again, but not this time!

Go to the furnace and jumper the R and W terminals on the control board. That should cause the heat to come on and stay on. If not, the problem is in the furnace. Otherwise it is the thermostat, or maybe the wiring.

I had the same problem. The reset button is directly left of the leftmost button (the change down button). I had also replaced batteries over and over again, with no change (batteries were good, V.O.M. tested!)
It now works, and the heat is now on.
