We bought a new bathroom faucet and can't get the copper fittings loose from hot/cold water valves. Looking for guidance as to what we can do to loosen with out damaging pipes. Any assistance would be much appreciated

If so, they make a BASIN WRENCH tool (see image) that extends to reach up in that tight spot and loosen the nuts. They also make other tools for this but the basin wrench is usually cheapest and very easy to use. Am I on the right track here? Let me know... Mark tclnova Sep 5, 2010, 09:18 AM Thanks for the advice Mark. Its the small 3/8 nuts directly at the hot/cold water cut off that won't budge. We can loosen the top of connection with no problems. massplumber2008 Sep 5, 2010, 09:25 AM Take pliers and hold the shutoff firmly while using another set of pliers to loosen the nuts. That should get them off. hkstroud Sep 5, 2010, 09:32 AM .. Copyright ©2005-, Ask Me Help Desk
