I had a miscarriage at 17 weeks on 1st November this year, during my labour i passed several large blood clots. About seven hours after delivering both the baby and placenta i passed another blood clot about the size of a dinner plate. I woke in the early hours of this morning with a sharp sabbing pain in my lower left side, the exact same pain i had before i went into labour i am now passing blood clots about the size of an egg about every hour along with a gush of blood, what could be causing this stabbing pain? as it is only on my left side and what is causing the bllod clots?

You need to get to the hospital. I do not know exactly what is causing this, but it is important that you get it taken care of right away.
