I am resurfacing my pool. Looking to either re-plaster or use some DIY method such as Sider-Proof or epoxy type paint like Ultragaurd. My pool plaster is pot holed like the surface of the moon now. It is gathering algae like a scum pond. Is there an easy, cheap methodo of fixing my pool surface?

I have used the Sider plaster a few years ago and it has held up great. I did some research on pool paints and they just don't seem to last that long. The Sider plaster was easy to apply and it still looks great. I think they even have a video on YouTube.

I used the Sider PRoof FFPR and would recommend it. My pool maintenance guy actually applied it and so far great stuff. It was also much cheaper than traditional plaster. Had the product applied 2 years ago and no issues so far...
