If the mother of a new born baby is on title 19 and she doesn't want to get a job, how long can she be on title 19 before the state makes her get a job? The mother said she would agree to accepting $250 a month from the father for child support, but as long as she is on title 19, the state can get as much child support from the father as they see fit!

Are you the father?

Have you gone to court to officially set up child support and custody?

No the state can't get as much as they see fit. Has this been through the courts?
What state is this?

The mom also really can't just settle ( in most states) child support is set by schedule by the state.

The state program is set up by the state, not familiar with it by that name here in GA, assuming it is some sort of welfare program, they can require someone to look for work, but esp with about 1 in every 5 people out of work ( includes those not looking anymore) finding a job is different than making them work
