A fever is where you have a high temperature. It usually goes along with some form of illness.

A cold is the result of a virus, and usually involves sneezing or coughing, runny nose, sore throat etc. It is very uncomfortable, but usually doesn't involve a fever.

A flu is similar to a cold, except it usually does involve a fever and is more serious.
