my last period was october 30 before i had sex the following weekend nov 4.. i am on the birth control pill however we did not use a condom, when i was home for thanksgiving i did not want to have my period so i skipped it with my birth control... now weeks later i am experiencing extreme cramping and some brownish discharge???? am i pregnant or is this a perhaps side affect of skipping my period? i think its impossible to be pregnant because i owuld not have ovulated around the time of sex... .or am i just not thinking right/ im just so scared and stressed!

Honestly, it could be either/or.

You could be pregnant since the pill is not 100% effective. However, it could be because you "played" with the hormones because you did not want to get your period.

I do think you should contact your doctor to make sure that everything is okay.
