I'm guessing here that you are working with Excel because you mentioned worksheet (it would really help to be more detailed when asking a question). So I moved this to the Spreadsheets forum.

What it sounds like is the Auto Complete feature of Excel is finding another cell that has Road in and wants to complete the word. Try typing roa and a space.
