I ve piaggio libert 150, Its battrey gets flat very quickly and the kick start doesn't work either unless the battrey is working(i.e button start working)..battery can be replaced but I don't understand why kick start doen't work without battery being functional..

Is the battery not charging when you drive it ?

If it is a issue of going dead while sitting, have you checked for a possible short ?

Also possible to use a small solar charger to keep battery level charged.

Thanks for this quick reply....last time when I charged I rode for 5 ks and left it for an hr. Or so..and it went flat..but what this KICK START has to do with the battery..it only works when the button start works..
1. I think it could due to short ckt..well how can I check for the short..
2..and if you can give me some website for solar charger
...and do I ve to run the bike for 20-30ks for battery to be fully charged
