Does skin lightening methods work on naturally fair skin?

Why would anyone want to be lighter then 'fair skin', unless that person is dead, then it would have that effect.

I know several people who are naturally fair toned but who want to use lightening methods for various reasons. I want my skin lighter, and to possibly get rid of my freckles.

I am currently like the first picture, but I used to be much lighter, as shown in the second

There are simple methods of lightening your freckles or skin to what it was previously. For example to help fade freckles (ephelides) you can use retinoids such as retin-a or the generic version tretinoin (vitamin A acid). Also dermabrasion, AHA peels such as lactic or glycolic, and patience. I prefer the lactic acid since it helps lighten naturally, is gentle, and moisturizing.

In addition to this, using simple natural lightening methods consisting of organic yogurt (contains lactic acid), lemon juice, tumeric, papaya (contains papain which lightens naturally), and parsely are among the few ingredients to use. But to protect your skin and help prevent some of the tanning, you'll need to use a sunblock that protects against UVA and UVB rays with at least spf 30 (although I prefer spf 55+). Even hats like a farmer's hat or strw hat for example to help give you additional shade and sun protection.

Or you can choose to use a skin lightener, I have been using fair &white exclusive whitenizer which has helped fade my acne marks and skin tone over all.

Cheapest would possibly be ingredients from the grocery store. Fair & white exclusive gel cost me about $10 +tax, or nadinola around $6 from walmart.

Since you are already white and want to be whiter, then maybe you can use benoquin aka monobenzone. I know someone who was into the vampire thing and they were using it. But keep in mind, it will make you like Michael Jackson. And it will not look weird since you are already pale.

Depig skin vary not everyone will have the same skin tone as MJ, I have seen so many.

I don't think flawless skin is necessarily white skin. It may have been Hollywood old perspective of it, and almost still (smiles), but your skin can be flawless in so many other shades. I know you're not saying that, but just wanted to clear that up for people that may have thought that.

No problem because that is a personal decision. I just felt the need to mention that because it sounded like "Hollywood's old flawless pale skin", or however worded, was just the only way to be considered flawless. :)

O god no! At least not for me, actually I think flawlessness is no bumps, scars, unsightly hairs, etc. I especially love my friend's (who happens to be indian) skin, never once saw a pimple on that girl!

Yeah, I pretty have the same perspective of flawless skin. I think different skin tones look good on certain people. My overall concern is to have an overall even tone. I don't like being one color here, another there, and ten everywhere (Hehehe)

I have that issue. It reminds me of a calico cat. How do I fix that?

Exfoliate at least once a week and use sunblock on a regular basis.
