Hi there. I am a 21 year old woman with a question. I'm a little bit worried and don't know where to turn.

My last period finished on November 23rd. I had protected sex (with a condom) with my boyfriend of three years on the 25th. Everything was fine. Just as an aside, we've been dating for three years and have always used a condom VERY carefully, without problems. He has been my only sexual partner. We have sex not very often because we are in a long distance relationship right now.

On November 24th, I started 5 miligrams of Lexapro for anxiety and depression.

This Wednesday November 29th I went to the gym and worked out on a cycle for about an hour. I jogged home. When I got home and went to the bathroom I noticed a brownish-red discharge or light bleeding.

Now its Friday and the light brownish blood has come back. It is extremely light. I am worried about what this could be. Could it be in the new antidepressant I am on? I've never been on one before. Could I be pregnant? Nothing went wrong with the condom. I am having no cramps. I'm freaked out!

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? What could it be? Do antidepressants casue irregular bleeding?
