When moving from one state to another how does one go about getting medical state card from state moving to? We are wanting to move from Wisconsin to Kansas but grandson needs a medical card for doctors and meds and he would have no insurance when we got there-----hope I am making some kind of sense here.
Thank you so much for your help. He is disabled at this point.

I would suggest first contacting the caseworker you have already, seeking their advice as to how long the child will have coverage once you move, then contact the new states office in the area you are moving to(ask you caseworker if they can find a listing for you),and contact the new place, get all the information lined up and ready when you first get there, you might avoid a lapse in coverage this way.
