My Goodman GMS9 Furnace starts normally, but after 10-15mins the induction motor stops, the burners go out and the board LED flashes 3 times. Have checked the wiring, pressure switch hose for leaks, thermostat and the inlet pipes, but can't find any issues. The induction motor is noiser than I remember and the motor is getting hot. The induction motor is only 1 year old, so I'm having a hard time believing it is failing again. Any ideas?

It could very well be the induction motor again. Look over your discharge and intake pipe to make sure it is installed as per factory specs. Many time an improperly installed (to may offsets/to long) a system will put a higher than normal load on the assembly causing it to tax the motor past its normal operating range. The system will work until the motor starts to fail again then problems happen like the shut down you are having.

An Amprobe tester can check the current draw to be sure it is within the specs of the motor label while it is running. I usually test the motor when first started then after it runs for 5 minutes to see is the current draw is the same. If not the motor is suspect again.
