I have cronic dark circles that give me a zombie complection when matched against my lighter skin. Can I use hydroquinone to lighten them up and even them out with my face? Can it even be used to get rid of the dark circles?

You cannot use that type of product on such a sensitive area on your face. Please don't.

I've had the dark circles under my eyes forever and found that using a concealer is the only answer.

There is no magic potion or lotion that can be used on this eye area.

May I suggest that you take an inventory of just how much salt you consume every day? Do you drink soda that contains salt? Do you have a water softener that uses salt? Believe it or not since I've stopped drinking my tap water that is treated by a salt softener system my dark circles have lightened and my always cold hands and feet have actually warmed up. You need to have salt in your system for the minerals, etc. but an excessive amount of salt will have all sorts of problems come out in your system. I drink reverse osmosis water and take a daily multi vitamin and mineral supplement each day to put back the minerals the reverse osmosis takes out of the water.

I got the same problem girl. I've been using hq and retin a for about a month now but I use it on my whole face, so now my overall face is lighter including my dark circles but not that much. I think hq just lightens your skin instead of really making it even unless you use it on the specific hyperpigmented spots. Maybe if you try just putting it under your eyes. I've found that the gluta c cream evens my skin out pretty well and it also makes my makeup go on great. Although there has been some talk on these boards that funkymommy.net is causing some scary side effects. Good luck

Nah. It was just a funny picture I found on the net. I'm really an old lady. I thought the mustache hat was a funny picture.

You can use HQ around the eyes it is a sensitive area so you should not apply HQ daily to the area, maybe a few times a week 2-3 cause the skin around the eyes is very sensitive and thin. I have used HQ around the eyes in the past but I've always applied vaseline with aloe vera before I actually apply the cream, its helped me to avoid irritation.
