Yeh Michael Jackson DID have vitiligo his doctor confirmed it on Larry King Live after his death... so he used Solaquin, Tretinoin and Benoquin.. they don't lighten your skin they depigment your skin. Take out ALL the color and leave you defenceless to the sun damage even white people have some melanin (less then ethnic people obviosuly).. and Benoquin and the rest kill all melanin out of your skin. That's why he always had an embrella in the sun. You can't buy those very strong creams... it has to be prescribed to you under the supervision of your doctor and you have to have vitiligo. So yeah... All the other skin lighteners out there are not permanent but some do work for sure.. usually the ones with hydroquinone but it is said that that chemical is dangerous over a long period use. But you would have to use it forever to keep the skin color you achieve. I heard of a company called 'Vita Pack by L' MAJ Beverly Hills '. I heard a lot of celebrity use it and that it works but it takes4 to 5 month use to see full results... I never tried it but its expensive! People say rihanna and little Kim use it but I don't know for sure obviously since I don't know celebrities myself... HOpe this help.. I know people who have bought G&G Skin Lightening Beauty Cream (google it to find it online) and that I can say it definitely works but after at least 3 month or using it 2times a day.. she got at least 4 shades lighter... seriously... and that's the only one I know for sure works but I'm sure there's more but I've never tried or known anyone who tried it. She was like ciara (the singer) like a brown/caramel and she became like rihanna (light brown yellow type... ) I hope you don't have oily skin though because then it might make you break out... I think its like $10 or $20 dollars n Canada and one bottle last for 4 or 5 months...

I know G&G and from what I heard it doesn't work great...
But for MJ it's so sad to think he was dealing with this disease when everbody was talking trash about him.
Such a strong and humble person...

Maybe it doesn't work for everyone since everyone has different type of skin but seriously I saw with my own eyes how it worked for my friend...

She was like this originally
http://www.contactmusic.com/pics/m/sony_post_grammy_110208/michelle_williams_1756410.jpg

And after using it for I think 7 months in all she got like this

http://www.gossipcheck.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/rihanna.jpg

She only started seeing results after 3months use though... so most people give up after one month time.. thats why they think it doesn't work... im not trying to get anyone to buy it.. I don't work for the company but I'm just telling you what I saw... but the down side is that it can make you break out if u have oily skin... if you have dry skin then its all good lol
Also it doesn't last.. u have to continue it... my friend stopped using it when she got to that color... and after a f\month or two she was back to her orinigal color.

OK! But at the end I'm asking myself was it you or your friend who got from michelle williams to rihanna's color cause in other threads you say it's you and here you say it's your friend... I think it's a little strange.

What are you talking about.. I never said it was me in ANY thread.. I say that I tried to use it when I saw that my friend finally saw something that worked but I coulnt because I have oily skin and it made me break out... it gave me blackheads... SO yeah no offence but you should read more carefully.. why would I not admit it was me? I wish... but I'm already close to rihanna color.. I posted in one thread about posting celebrity pics to show how you are now and what your goal is... I am about ciara's color naturally and I want to be like rihanna's color

Like you saw in the pictures I put up she wasn't that dark.. so if your caramel type it should work but it would proably take longer then 7month if your darker. What's your colour like? And about the ingredient.. its Hydroquinone - I know its not good but it definitely works. But its said that with long term use its not good for the skin and the problem is that you have to continue it forever to keep up the color :( so its better to find a product with safe ingredients because then it can be your product for life... thats what I'm searching for... im using a carrot flavour lightening cream(dont remember the name.. im not at home) but it also has HQ so its not going to be good long term... u should try this exfoliant I discovered on the internet... u make a paste with baking soda (just add water to some baking soda powder) and scrub on your face for atleast2minutes... ur skin will be soft and clean of dead skin.. it will allow your skin lighteneng cream to be absorbed better

I'm caramel type.
I wonder what's the HQ percentage in it. I tried 4% in combo with retin a and I never lightened that much. So if it really lightens like that I believe it definitely contains something else in it.Even after 7 months of use... by the way I believe retin a allows my skin to absorb better.

That's true.. it may have more stuff in it I'm not sure... I used ambi once and it only made me pink and didn't really work.. maybe I should have tried longer.. I think I used it for 2months. Maybe there is more thing in it... its called G&G TEINT LIGHTENING BEAUTY CRÈME JAR 16OZ.. its the one with the light pink cap not the red cap...

Well MJ had vitiligo.
Do you?

You can use benoquin to kill all your melanin.
But you need to wear an Umbrella all the time
And use a lot of sun protection.

I think MJ had Chemically Induced Vitiligo. It can be done but there are so many issues involved with the process, you will end up patchy for months or years. Is that something you can live with? Even MJ with all his money he could not get it done fast, it is very slow producers. Some people get better results than others, the are not a lot of research around the subject. You can not decide where to lighten, I am using mono, I never apply to my back but those areas are getting white spots.
