I'm 74 and lost my income several years ago. Been trying to land any job--even the most menial kind. My wife kept us afloat, working two jobs. She's now 62 and lost one of her twu jobs. We now have a total income of thirty thousand--plus my 8,400.oo from social security. My wife and I have tried every governmenmt help program we could find.
So far--no luck! We need a miracle. If we could sell opur house (worth 280,00.00 but on the market at 23900,00 we could at least move in with our kids.
Do you believe my wife make "too much" to collect at 62 Please help us.

Ok, so what is the problem.

You have a home you can't sell, does that mean you have a mortgage on the home, if so how much,
What do you owe on the home,

Do you owe more on the home than it can sell for. Many properties are selling for 1/2 of what it did 3 years ago, I have just bought some. Can you sell it for less, have you discussed a short sale with the lender.

Are you behind on house payments.
