That is very sweet of you to speak so kindly about her. I think it would be perfectly fine to tell her those things to her face while she is still alive! Tell her that you are going to miss her when "that time" comes...and how you feel about her. Maybe the two of you can talk about some good times you had together, or some of the things you are going to miss the most, or what you appreciate the most about her.
Tell her! Then you won't regret NOT having told her when she does eventually die. It will be a special moment for the two of you. Don't wait. Tell her of your love soon.
I wish you the best.
Love,
True

I am dying and would like to leave a letter to soul mate. What words could I leave behind, that I haven't already expressed. I know one day we will be together, but until than I need for him to stay strong. Anyone have any advice to give me, it would be appreciated. Thank you.
