I was just wondering If I can still possibly be a cop someday ? I have an arrest for domestic battery, but I did not get convicted of that, I took a plea bargin of (criminal trespass to a residence) on that one.
I also got arrested for Dui 3 years later and did not get convicted of that either, I'm not sure if the Dui comes up on my record or not, It has not come up on my MVR at all and I work for a Delivery company.
Can I still Be a Police Officer someday, and how long should I wait to try for Employment.
Also one last question. Can I have the offinces removed from my history if I pay a Laywer money to take care of it for me.?
Thank You
Brent

Hello B:

I don't think time will cure your problem. I'd start applying and see what happens.

No, you cannot have the offenses removed. Well, of course, you CAN, but when they're expunged, they're not really "removed", they're just hidden from the public. But, they're NOT hidden from the cops.
