Right so, I have had very poor attendance since september. I have missed a lot of work due to going through a hard time. I haven't been going to college.

I am going to stop this foolishness and start taking college more seriously now and catch up very quickly.

But on a serious note, will poor attendance affect any chances of me getting into university?

Of course poor attendance will effect your chances. What did you learn, what did you study during the time you were 'attending poorly due to being very foolish'. It would be interesting to find out who was paying your tuition during this foolish time. Whoever it was, can you make it up to them for lost money, invested in you and trusting you to treat your education wisely?

I live in England, college is free for Under 19's.

University is the one we have to pay for. So, I haven't wasted anyone's money and if I had I'd have been sorry for it.

I have good reasons to have been off college by the way.
