Hello, sorry for the inconvinience, but I have been searching the web for quite some time, and cannot seem to find anything as to why Arkansans call the valley located in between Clinton and Farfield Bay the "Fayetteville Pike". I've asked Arkansans why they call it this; all they do is shrug. Any possible chance you may know why it is referred to by such name?
Thank you very much for your time and any help you have to offer!
- Sabrina

I have a suggestion for you:-

Write to the following:-

Debbye Hughes, B.A.J., City Editor, Southwest Times Record.

She has an enormous knowledge of ARKANSAS.
My grandson lives very close to BERRYVILLE.

You can expect to wait some time for a response, considering Hughes died many years ago.
