hello, any bleeding in pregnancy is to be concerned about...

i do not wish to worry you,i had some bleeding on all my children, however i would be remiss not to advise you to ring the hospital and speck to a doctor.

just like redhead35 said bleeding is always something to watch i bled with my daughter up until 5 months sometimes light some times not so light and EVERY time i made sure to call the doc! i could be something normal like implantation bleeding, or something more concerning, with me it was a subchorionic hemmorage, a little bleed from my placenta that had to be watched, if you are EVER concerned about ANYTHING YOU find strange or concerning ALWAYS call the doc that is what they are there for and they wont laugh or get tired of questions, its better to be safe and put you at ease that be sorry!

Bleeding in early pregnancy is something to worry about if it is accompanied with cramping.

Yeah, I agree go to the doctor right away. It could be a number of things. It could be a early sign of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or molar pregnancy. On the other hand in the first trimester it could be simply be implantation bleeding, irritation from sexual intercourse (cervix sensitivity) or an infection in the pelvic (like a really bad urinary tract infection). Or something else your doctor can ease your mind with - it may be something that can be helped with medication? I don't know. I have also heard some women do spot through out their pregnancies...I didn't - I would go ASAP.

Take your Materna Vitamins (Folic Acid now if you haven't already) to assist in fetal development. Please go to the doctor so he/she can tell you what is really going on.
