Make sure you keep your dog calm and limit his activity.

You will need to keep him crated or penned in a small area and carried out to potty if you have stairs.

Definitely NO jumping or climbing of any kind.

Surely your vet would have told you this?
Has your vet given him any treatment at all?
The standard is steroid injections and for more extreme cases surgery.
