I am suppose to be getting a paps smear test tomorrow. But what if you happen started your menstrual cycle?

i made sure to schedule mine as far away from my cycle because i was told you can't wear a tampon for 24 hours before. that's the only thing i remember for sure. but it's been a while since my last smear. it's best to call your dr before you go in to be sure there's nothing else you need to know
