Two months ago I accidentally got the wrong dose prescription for my birth control pills. It was a lower dose than I normally take, but I needed them that day so I went ahead and got them when I was at the pharmacy. That month my period started a full week early (at the beginning of week 3 in my pack), and lasted for 13 days. This last month I took the correct dosage of my birth control pill, but now it is time for my period to start and I am having slight cramping, but no bleeding. I am also urinating a lot more than normal, but that could be due to something else.
My question is, since I started my period a week early last month, does that mean I was unprotected since I would have theoretically ovulated while on my placebo week on the pills? Has anyone experienced this before?

Time to take a HPT. Remember that no form of birth control is 100% effective.
