My husband had 3 kids with his previous girlfriend. There have been people telling him that the last child is not his. So he wants to get a dna test to find out the truth, but when the baby was born he signed the affidavit of birth stating that it was his child. The boy is now 6 years old. Since he has waited so long, does it matter if it is his child or not? Will he still have to pay child support? Or will he be able to make her (the mother) re-pay for all the money spent for that child?, Since she admitted to a couple of people before they split up that she knew it was not his child.

Well, he wont be able to get her to repay anything regardless of how it turns out.

As for disestablishment of paternity, it will all depend on what state he lives in.
