I bought a mobile home 8yrs ago, paid to have the finace papers made. The home was setup and have been living in it for the whole time. The company the home was purchased from went out of business. The finace papers was never sent to me to sign, and have no one to contact, and have no deed for the home. I have never made a payment. Is the homested act applied here or what. By the way this is in KY.

no, since you have lived theire lawfully. This is more of a fraud issue, since you had a obligation to contact the lender.

** and normally the mobile home is on a title not deed. Who owns the land the home is on ??

Who was the lender ?

You will never be able to own the home, someone still owns it and has the title

I dont know who the lender was I was never given the papers by the mobile home company. They went out of business b4 the company had finished setting it up. We had to finish setting it our selves. The land belongs to me. The home company did never give the papers to know who to pay.
