I've had a cough lately so I bought some Buttercup cough syrup from my local shop, and throughout the day I take a bit, not a massive gulp, not even the reccomended 5ml, just a bit (however I do take a propper ammount about 4 hours between) because it tastes so nice, sometimes I just have it open in my mouth just to taste it but I don't acctually swallow any of it.
My mam told me that it'll give me diarrhea and my friends say it'll make me ill. I've drank 3/4 of the bottle since yesterday morning (they are small bottles mind) and i was wondering if there's anything dangerous about it if I drink too much since nothing has happened yet?
It says this on the ingredients bit:
Squill Liquid Extract
Capsicum tincture
contains ethanol (alcohol)
Syrup (Fructose, glucose and sucrose)
E110, E112, E217 and E219
