ok women...i am great friends w/ this grl, we're so close, almost like brother/sister...but i like her alot.

back when we first met i asked'er if she wanted 2 take it 2 tha next step...u know, be more exclusive...but she had jus got outta a f****ed up relationship n said shes not ready 4 that...

she moved on n now maybe almost a year n a half has passed

we dont talk that much on tha phone NEmore like we used 2 but when we do talk or c each other we r like best friends...she says theres things she lets me c n does stuff in front of me that she wouldnt do w/ NE1 else
(messy house, burbs in front of me etc etc...)

tha other day on tha phone she said shes getting old n shes complaineing that shes guna b 31 n still not married...i told her its her own fault, cuz shes BEAUTIFUL. but she turns EVERY guy tha approches her down...n i said "its on u, cuz u can have NE guy u want."

should i take this as a hint that she wants 2 get 2gether? should i try 2 ask her out again?...if so how? or should i jus think of this as a friend asking another friend a hypothetical question?

please help me out...

Well you'll never know if you don't try, I say ask her out and see where that goes.

Hi, If you guys are close like brother and sister as you say...then why do you feel you cannot be upfront with her? Just ask her straight out, "Hey, we're good friends...what do you think about taking it further?" Seriously, don't be shy...Girls like a guy who is upfront and direct. If she says no, just move forward. People are so afraid of rejection. What's the big deal? You ask a question...You either like the response or you don't. No harm done. But if you don't ask, you'll never know. Could be a happy ending!

If she is turning every guy that asks her out down. she is not doing much to change her unmarried status. Its clearly not the issue at
hand that shes bugged about, but what others think about being 30 something and not married. You, as her friend, are a sounding board for her thoughts. I would think about the fact that she knows she could have you in her life that way if she so chose to.
Find out, as her close friend, if she is 'ok' being single, as some people really are.
