The search engine Dogpile is my Internet Explore homepage.

Today when I open my Internet Explorer the Dogpile homepage loads partially and then freezes up indicating that it is trying to load a picture and I get the "not responding" on the Windows Task Manager. I've never had this problem before. I can't see the end of the message at the bottom of the Dogpile homepage.

Yesterday I used the Internet Explorer on my PC and Dogpile worked just fine.

I haven't installed, uninstalled, upgraded or done anything else that I can think of between yesterday and today.

I've done a registry repair using Registry Mechanic, I've rebooted the PC, I've repaired MicroSoft Office and nothing helps.

We have another independent computer in the house and we can get to the Dogpile homepage without any problems. When I compare the Dogpile homepage on my PC with the Dogpile homepage on this other PC, it looks like both homepages look identical so I don't know why the Dogpile homepage would still be trying to download a picture when it freezes up.

HELP! How can I get a working Dogpile Search Engine?

try to open IE and immediately go to another link or webpage to see if it is just dogpile or something IE related or if you have favorites in your start menu, go to favorites and try to open any page other than dogpile to see if IE can open without problem

There could be an addon that is causing the freeze whether it is related to dogpile or something else.

Try that first to see if IE can open to another page
