Has the landlord been to court to have the eviction processed or is he about to serve you with a notice such as a pay or quit notice or written notice of intent to evict?

I have a Notice Of Eviction without a Case Number on it. It simply states that the Sheriff will be here at 9 a.m. on October 28th.

Yeah - i'd say you have about a day before the sherriff shows up and escorts you off the property.
