My boxer is the same way, the only way I get her to gain weight is to give her cooked rice mixed with really fatty wet food for dogs. It makes a difference in like three days.

Also just to note, I took my boxer to the vet about it and they said she is perfectly healthy and she has the same signs as your does. But each dog is different so I would make sure a vet says your boxer is healthy first.

That is exactly what my boxer does, eats and then poops. I found the only thing she keeps in her stomach is the rice, I put the wet food in it to make it not so dry for her.

Another thing I try is rice with a light gravy, that works the best but takes a little longer amount of time to cook everynight. I feed this to her once a day, (or with the wet food) as well as I feed her dry food once a day as well.
