I get CDs from an outside agency with medical records on them. Lately, some of them will not open.

I got my son to install Winzip which seems to have sorted some problems in some CDs but others just will not open and I don't have a clue how go about solving this problem. It is not anything to do with my computer which is working normally in every way - it is just how to access the information on these CDs.

It all depends on what the file types are. They could archived/compressed in a certain way or it could be a CD made from a MAC and you have a Windows machine. What is the file type that you cannot open?
