We have a Heil furnace in connection with a heat pump. The upstairs has its own thermostat and the first floor has its own thermostat that heats the first floor and the basement. The upstairs heat is not sending out any thing and the thermostat is not able to heat to the required degrees. We had a heat pro out yesterday and he could not feel anything coming out of the vents. The unit worked fine last year except we had a simiar problem on the first floor. Had the pro come out fixed it and it worked fine the rest of the winter. We were in the famous ice storm last year and had no electric for 5 days. Don't know if this could have affected the unit or not.
