I need some help with figuring out why my answer is incorrect.
This is what I did:
mce=process time/throughput time

process time = 0.6, throughput time= 5.40
answer 0.11

When I put this in ,the answer is not coming out right!
Could it be the decimal placement?

I know the numbers are right for the process time and throughput time because I had to find those first and they where both correct.
Please help!!

Thanks

This it not something I am familiar with, but I can always plug n chug. If the given equation is correct, and the numbers you have provided are correct, then your answer is correct. That is, the calculation is fine. There's nothing wrong with the decimal. For the most part you should never have to worry about decimals (assuming you entered everything correctly) unless it's related to percents.

Are you sure you are to round to 2 places though? That is something to check.

Otherwise, the only other comment I can make is that the homework sites out there have bad quality control and quite frequently tell people things are incorrect when they are not.
