I am on Concerta and it is a slow release. Does food or water make it worse or better? If I am not drinking alot while taking the pill, I also don't drink very much during the day. Does this make a difference the way the pill works? Will juice be the same effect as water?

Food doesn't change the absorbtion. Peak plasma concentration occurs in about an hour. It "appears" that it's absorbed in the GI tract. It appears need to take it with plenty of water.
