Hi!
I have Windows XP Proffessional and I use Verizon Yahoo Browser and for some time I haven't been able to connect to internet through any other browser (Internet Explorer and Mozilla). I checked firewall settings and added both applications as exceptions, I also renewed IP config, but it didn't help.
Let me add that with Verizon Yahoo Browser it works perfectly and also my other computer connects wirelessly (in the same network) with internet without any problems.
Does somebody have any ideas??

Hey there

Make sure that IE and Firefox's Proxy server boxes are empty and not checked. Chances are 80% that it is the problem.

Try uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it (When istalling it, select the option of "NOT importing settings from other browsers")

If you open command prompt and enter "Ping www.google.com" and if gives you a responce simular to "Pinging Google (http://www.l.google.com) [209.85.229.103] with 32 bytes of data:" then your browsers should work and settings have to be checked.

Hope this helps...
