Is your unhappiness caused by your weight?

What diets have you tried?

i used cardio and basic stuff like special k.. I lost a little but I still feel bad. I don't use pills or anything but I use portion control too.

I think you have to give it some time - good, solid nutrition, exercise, whatever works for you.

I have friends who have achieved great success with Weight Watchers. I don't think I would do well with that. Rather than the weekly weigh in I simply wouldn't show up.

If we don't support each other, what's it all worth?

You need to find what works for you - I LOVE working out with weights; cardio not so much. Just be sensible.

Certainly 5'2" and 160 isn't obese and I'm sure with some concentrated effort the extra weight will come off.
