Hi,
Are you speaking of the deck drive belt or the motion drive belt? That machine has three serial number breaks, none of which apply to the motion drive belt, but do if the machine is equipped with a 38" deck or Freedom42 deck since there are two of each.
Peace,
Clarke

Hi, Thanks for responding. It is the motion drive belt. It has the38" deck. It Looses forward motion going up a hill, but not power. Thanks, Jim

Hi,
Here is a picture, and the manual online for the final serail number break is at:
John Deere Ag - New Equipment: Technical Publications - Equipment Search (http://www.deere.com/en_US/ProductCatalog/HO/servlet/servlet/com.deere.u90785.cce.productcatalog.view.servlets.PublicationsSearchServlet?tM=HO)
Easier with deck removed. Lock brake, remove nut and guide on flat idler, loosen idler near engine, install at rear first, then front, then at idlers, tighten idler at engine, unlock brake and check routing, put nut and guide back on and reinstall deck.
Peace,
Clarke
